I visited Mosque !

hi girls !

i went to Tokyo Camii & Turkish Culture Center on Tuesday !!! yayyay !!!
this is part of my class, CCU ( Cross Culture Understanding )'s field trip.

I had been looking forward to visiting there because i had no idea what Mosque looks like.
actually, it was more beautiful than i thought !

here, the description

The Turkish community who emigrated from Kazan (Russia) built the Tokyo Camii in 1938, the foundation of which stems from the hospitality of the respected people of Japan, and was rebuilt in 2000 owing to some serious damage that it was exposed to. We believe it is performing and will continue to perform its duty as a bridge between the past and the future, and is beautiful in other aspects due to certain unique features. While not departing from the ties of the past with its construction in the classical Ottoman architecture style, it also has an enlightening purpose for the future through various architectural points that attract attention in both construction technology and the multipurpose hall which is a venue for wedding ceremonies, fashion shows, plays, exhibitions and conferences on the first floor.

We have no doubt that Tokyo Camii will be an alternative place of true learning about the religion of Islam, being a frequent place to visit for hundreds of Japanese every day and would contribute to the centenary relations between the Turkish and Japanese people.

We would be very honored by your visit.

Tokyo Camii Administration

yeah, i knew the atmosphere was very sacred.
but i couldn't help opening my mouth, because i hadn't known that Tokyo had the Mosque like this and i hadn't seen it before !

this was the first time i saw Quran !
and for sure i couldn't read that.

my dear teacher was also tongue tied ! lol
I believe in god, but somehow i felt my heart was relaxing in there.
the point is, whatever we believe, there is a great presence mush bigger than religions.

I'd like to visit there again.

i bought this souvenir for myself !
dear post card, why you're so beautiful ?

Catch ya later, easy !

AFRICAN FESTA

hi guys, how's your day been so far ?
feels like tg it's finally sunday ?

as for me, I went to African Festa 2013 in Yokohama, Japan today :))

In short, it was one of the largest event in Japan which aims to promote understanding and friendship between Japan and Africa, and offers an opportunity to enjoy African music, lecture, workshop, food and etc... with active participation of embassies, international organizations, NGOs and private businesses !

my precious friend Patrick, who is from Congo informed me this awesome festa !

today was a EPIC day ever !
the weather was perfect, all the music bands ♫ ♪ were awesome, foods were also yummy as tongue tied !

This year African Festa 2013 will be held at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Event Square and the No.1 Building on May 11th and 12th in celebration of the 5th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD V) to be held in Yokohama on June 1st, 2nd and 3rd With the theme “Hand in Hand with Africa”.

I've never touched on African culture until now, so it's really good opportunity for me to know that.

they're soo agressive, powerful, positive, and have lots of energies !
I was encouraged by this festa actually, i can't support children who cannot go to school owing to their health, sex, or some reasons directly but i can understand the fact.

okay, it's time to introduce food ! yayay !

my lunch was Ethiopian's, which was from African food corner.

on the lawn in the sunshine with some Ethiopian foods.
you know how it sounds good, yes you're right !!!

furthermore, i could hear the ship's arrival sound, because Yokohama is one of the famous harbor in Japan so sea breeze blew comfortably.

It was the first time i ate Ethiopian foods !
( sauteed vages, spicy chicken curry, ethiopian bread ? Dabo )

It tasted as all get out gooooood ! and spicy, our and little bit hot !

Summary

I was fascinated today.
I wanna get to know African culture more.
Ethiopian food was hella awesome.
Yokohama was hella awesome.

p.s. today, as you know May 12th is Mother's day.
love you mommy, xoxo Sammy

YouTube

home sweet home everyone !
finally i've reached my house ... yep now i suspect if my body's screaming.

when I'm extremely exhausted, watching my favorite YouTube channel serve to get rid of my stress.

It works, seriously.
( yet, eating is much better )

( taking a bath with some magazines, iPhone, and your favorite drink will be so much × 100... better )

there're millions ( billions, maybe ) of videos on YouTube, it means you'll be able to find and watch videos whatever you like.

I'm gonna introduce my favorite YouTube channel I've been hooked on !

1. Wassabi Productions

it rates fifty presents of my life ! ........ jk

owing to my dumb homework, i've been chased by time but this one makes me loling and forget all things which vex me.

Roi and Alex are the main characters who make silly videos !
just watch, they AKA Rolanda and Richard.

FYI, i watched their Call Me Maybe parody first whose content is the girl Rolanda ( played by Roi ), who is gross and smelly loves Alex as stoking him ( Alex is so handsome actually ) and another guy Richard ( played by Alex ) loves Rolanda.

the story is kinda complicated love triangle.

but since it's so funny I always can't stop laughing !

they upload new video every Wednesday called Wassabi Wednesday.

stop studying, put your text book down and check them up right now !

watch before they will catch on !

organizing your room

hi guys what's up ?
I've had a bad headache since the day before yesterday and i don't know why .... :(

now I'm sitting on my desk with comfy pajama and super fresh ice tea.
these stuffs make me relieved.

anyway, today i'm gonna show you how to organize your room !
( but it's kind of my room tour but don't judge me )

I always decide my aim, theme colors, capital motif of my room before starting my room decoration.

In my case, I was aiming the room which was both elegant and fancy, theme colors are Rose Pink, ( my favorite at all !! ) red violet, magenta, baby blue, robin egg blue, and tiffany blue !

capital motif was butterfly.

here's my enter place which is decorated with my testimonials and post cards.
second pic is my book shelf which contains my favorite dolls and teddys :)

my room has so many opus which my sweet mom, who is an artist designed and drawn. ( sometimes my work )

all the certains are order made from Laura Ashley, furnitures are my grandma's.

I made photo clip board, accessory hook, butterfly decorations, paint of zebra.

accessory hanger is my one of favorite part !

It took me only 30 minutes to make.
you will find my name is organized with some sparkle glitters ♡

O My Effin God how adorable is this I totally love this !
you can also renewal your room stuff by costing under 1 buck.

feel free to attempt it when you get tired of your everyday room :)
